Funding

Besides receiving funding from Université de Montréal and Université Laval, the CRI-VIFF benefits from an infrastructure operating fund allocated by the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la société et la culture (FQRSC) [Quebec Fund for Research on Society and Culture] since 2003. This attributes the [Strategic Association] status to the Center. The CRI-VIFF has also received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) for the Women, violence and vulnerability contexts research team (Community-University Research Alliances - CURA) and from FQRSC, the Center received funding for the Masculinities and Society team (financial support program for research teams).
